TURN

Gob Squad, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop, Ethan Braun2025

The legendary theatre collective Gob Squad has invited Kaleidoskop to be their artistic partner for their new production. Ethan Braun will once again be creating the music with the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop.

TURN is an evening of conversation, music and dance. Rules, ranks and conventions are constantly changing. What began in 1825 as a thé dansant in the year Strauss was born becomes a waltz through 200 years of capitalism. Always in motion, always rotating, the waltz symbolises the search for an alternative society. Gob Squad subverts the dress code and opens the theatre doors to the outside world. Places change, new constellations emerge. TURN represents a community of equals that is as harmonious as the waltz itself. Let the tables turn!
