Konzert in Athen

In October, we will be guests at the Theocharakis Foundation in Athens with a site-specific program. Drawing on our many years of experience in activating art spaces and engaging in dialogue with artworks, we create a special connection between music and space.
Claude Vivier’s Learning for four violins opens the evening in the auditorium, followed by Felix Profos’ Lange Melodien, which unfolds through the exhibition rooms in resonance with the works of Opy Zouni. The program is complemented by vocal compositions by Meredith Monk as well as improvised solo and duo pieces. The evening concludes with Julius Eastman’s Buddha – a shared sound ritual with local musicians.
