In August 2021 Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop will start a new collaboration with two extraordinary artists: The artist and choreographer Isabel Lewis and the artist Dirk Bell have invited members of Kaleidoskop and the composer Ethan Braun to a workshop in their joint artists’ house in the Uckermark. Using all their senses, Kaleidoskop embarks on a joint artistic quest. This encounter is the starting point for new joint works.
On Saturday, August 21, Kaleidoskop, Isabel Lewis and Dirk Bell will offer a first glimpse of this collaboration in the context of the finissage of Isabel Lewis and Dirk Bell’s exhibition “Intim/e” at the Schinkel Pavillon. Between 15:00 and 20:00, different live performances will take place again and again, resonating with the installations in various arrangements of body, sound and material, and compositionally incorporating the terrace and garden of the Schinkel Pavillon.
