Into the Dark

In her project Into the Dark, director Sabrina Hölzer (Zeitgenössische Oper Berlin) explored the question of how seeing and hearing influence each other. In different spatial constellations and instrumentations, she explored works by international contemporary composers such as Morton Feldman, John Cage, Salvatore Sciarrino, Peteris Vasks, Blind Willie Johnson, James Tenney and Kevin Volans with the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop in complete darkness.
